Frequent Questions

1. Do you accept Insurance?

At this time Kauai Kids LLC does not accept insurance. Payment is due at the time of service. This allows us to focus on providing personalized care without the constraints of insurance eligibility, coverage limitations, or restrictions on session frequency.

As an out-of-network provider, we do not directly bill insurance companies. However, your insurance may cover some or all of the services. If your insurance offers coverage to out-of-network providers, we can provide you with an insurance reimbursement claim form (also called a "superbill"). This will provide you with all the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We cannot guarantee that you will be reimbursed by your health insurance carrier for payment of services rendered.

2. Where do you provide services?

We come to you! We make it easy and conduct all therapy sessions in your home, at the park, or in a community setting.

3. Do I need a physical therapy referral from my pediatrician?

Because we are a private pay practice, a pediatrician referral is not required to begin services. However, it is always a good idea to inform your pediatrician of any changes in your child's routine.

A pediatrician referral/ prescription may be requested by your insurance company if you are submitting a superbill.

4. How do I know if my child is delayed and not meeting their milestones?

Becoming a parent is a blessing, but can also be stressful. If you are concerned your child is not reaching their milestones, please reach out for a free consultation. You can fill out the contact form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
